# Open Multiple Quantity Items (new)

In some cases, if you have more than one of an item you might have listed it as an Allow Multiple Quantities item and configured it to Allow Multiple Winners.

An example item with a quantity of 10 and only 3 winning bids...

The example item closed after bidding has ended with three winners.

# How To Re-Open The Item

Since this item cannot be opened using the Open/Close Bidding functions, you will need to re-open this item using its Item Details Summary tab (see Open Bidding From Item Details) although there is a step that needs to be taken first.

# Duplicate The Item

In order to take into account the three winning bids from the original auction of the item, you can use the Duplicate Item function and then make adjustments as needed to the "duplicate".

Using the Duplicate Item function allows you to retain all of the original information about the item; and, it allows you to make changes as needed without affecting that historical data.

Remember, before saving the Duplicate Item, or at least make note of the relevant values and fields being used by the item you should update such as the Item Number, Title, Quantity, and Override online bidding end time.

NOTE: At a minimum, the Item Number will need to be changed before you can save.

...continuing from the example above.

Once the item is saved, you can either re-open it immediately; or, you can make further adjustments to suit your "After Event Sale" needs.

# After Event Sale Options

Once you have the basics of the item updated, you can make the item ready for your After Event Sale.

# Change To Buy-It-Now-Only Item

Originally, the item had a Starting Bid of $10 and a Bid Increment of $10 and now you want to configure it as a Buy It Now Only Items.

Clearing the Bid Increment value and setting the Starting Bid and Buy It Now Price values equal (given the other relevant settings are already set correctly -- see Buy It Now Only Items) will change this item to a Buy It Now Only item.

# Change To For Sale Type Item Item

An alternative to the Buy It Now Only Item approach is to use a For Sale Items type configuration.

For Sale type items do not use the Bidder Rules but instead rely on the the Pricing section Value.

Also to consider are the values in the For Sale Items section. This is where you would set the Quantity available for the item, its new online bidding ends at time, as well as if the item will be purchased immediately or go on account via the Online Purchase Behavior options.

...continuing from the example above.

The default Online Purchase Behavior is the Immediate Payment Only method.

See For Sale Items on the For Sale Items Detailed page for additional information about this section.

# Re-Open The Item

Once all of the above has been addressed as needed for the item you can now just click on the Open Bidding button in the sidebar in the Bidding section.
