Linking Versus Merging Participants
Auctria allows you to Link two separate participant records, keeping both, or you can Merge two different participant records, keeping only the first.
When you Link Participants, they share the same Participant Number. They will also have their contact information and separate registered credit card details if they exist.
With "Linked" participants, the statement will list all purchases, donations, and won items on a single statement for their participant number.
When you Merge Participants, the first participant is retained. The second participant will be added to the first and deleted.
Linked participants can be Unlinked; Merged participants cannot be un-merged.
