How To Pause An Online Event
Please Note: "Bidder" is interchangeable with "Participant" for the following.
One of the simplest ways to Pause An Online Event is to clear the Online bidding end time, which effectively suspends bidding for all items (except those with specific override end times set).
From the main Event Dashboard, go to Online Settings Online Bidding to edit the event's Online Bidding Period.

WARNING
If you click the Online bidding end time "now" button or set a time in the past, the online event will be immediately closed when you save the settings.
Edit the Online bidding start time to the date in the future you want bidding to resume.
