Welcome to the Quick Start Guide!
This guide will help walk you through the key setup screens for your auction!
If you haven't reviewed the Using Auctria section, we recommend looking over it first before diving into your own event setup.
You are also welcome to explore the Demo Auction to learn how the site works without changing anything in your own account.
Please note, not all the steps will be applicable when setting up every event, you can skip those features you are not going to use.
# Questions and Considerations
As you work through the guide it is helpful to be able to answer several questions about your event:
What kind of event is it?
- event based with a traditional silent and/or live auction
- event based with mobile/online bidding throughout
- online only
What do you want to use Auctria for?
- tracking auction items
- online bidding
- selling event tickets
- selling items for fixed price (eg. raffle tickets)
- receiving donations
Specifically for the online features, will you be using the event website to:
- preview items
- bid on items
- sell event tickets
- sell items for fixed price (eg. raffle tickets)
- highlight donors, and sponsors
- collect donations
As you work through the Quick Start User Guide, this will help you set up some of the key pieces for the event.
