# Slide Show 2019
The Slide Show element allows you to add several images that rotate automatically with the option to hyperlink each image to a page on the website or an external website address.
# Add a Slide Show
To add the Slide Show element, open the Content editor and select the Elements section.
Under Elements, click Others and select the Slide Show element, then drag and drop it onto the website page. See Add New Element 2019 for more information.
# Customize the Slide Show
For best results, all the images being used in the slideshow should be the same size and and web-friendly (or, in other words, not too big).
To customize the slide show, click Settings.
To add images, click the "Add" icon (blue button with a
+ on it) in the Settings window.
The Choose File window appears.
To choose a picture from your computer, click Choose File and browse to find it.
After uploading an image, it will appear in the Settings window. Highlighting the image (by clicking on it), will display its settings.
- Alt Text can be added as needed
- Links to allow you to set an "Auction Page" or an external "Web Address"
- If you want the image to link to a website page or a web address, select the appropriate options.
To add another image, click the "Add" icon and repeat the above process.
# Put the images in order
After all images have been added, use the arrow buttons to move the images into the order you would like them to display.
The Options tab provides additional settings that relate to the slideshow.
The Interval option sets the time to display each image (measured in milliseconds). The images in the slide show will move from one to the next on the website according to this pre-set interval.
# Save Settings
After editing the settings, click Save to continue making changes to the element, or click Save & close to save the element and close its Settings window. The slide show appears on your website page.
Click Cancel to not save any of your changes and close the Settings window.
