# Why Three Emails? (archived)

You may find when testing the Sell Tickets feature you receive three emails related to the purchase. In the default case, this is actually correct if you are using your Organizer's contact email address. The emails being received should be the following:

  1. Ticket Purchase Receipt;
  2. E-Ticket / bidder# notification; and,
  3. Organizer bidder activity notification.

In the case of a bidder signing up for the auction/event, they would only receive the first two emails. The first email is automated and cannot be "turned-off".

The second and third emails are generated per the Purchase/Registration 2019 options in its "Notifications" panel settings.
