How Do I Redirect My Website

Although Auctria does not provide technical assistance with redirecting a "Custom Domain" (for example your-domain-name.com) to our platform and specifically to your auction website we can provide a general overview of the idea.

Web Server Redirect

IMPORTANT

Domain re-directs must be handled through a web server re-direct, it is not a DNS re-direct.

In most cases, your domain registrar and/or your domain web hosting service support teams will be able to further assist you as needed -- redirecting a website well exceeds the scope of support Auctria can reasonably provide at this time.

Also to note, when searching and/or speaking to your domain service's technical support, using the most appropriate terms for their specific service may be necessary to get the clearest answer, for example, the term "forwarding" may be used in place of "redirecting".

In many cases, the process to redirect a domain is fairly straightforward and most service providers will have an easy to follow interface and instruction set. These can often be quickly found using common search engines.
