Website Templates

Auctria provides tools you can use to create a public-facing website.

When creating your website, you can select a template that includes some core functions. The template will automatically set up your website with the elements that you will likely need, but you can customize them to suit your specific requirements.

Select a template that includes the functions you want.

WARNING

Once you have created a website you can't change the template, but you can add & remove pages later to reconfigure the site.

When the Guest clicks on the item,

  • They can only view information.
  • They cannot bid on the item.

  • This creates a single homepage
  • Does not include menu or registration element.

  • In the bidder registration, bidders will set a password for sign-in.
  • You can turn on/off bidder registration from editor mode

Register as a bidder:
Guests will sign in to their accounts as bidders by clicking the "Register" on the menu or "Register as a bidder".

During the registration process, credit cards may be saved on the bidder record (if credit cards are enabled).

If the Credit Card feature is enabled, bidder credit card numbers can be entered and saved for future transactions. For more information see Credit Cards

Event with ticket sales but without online bidding

  • creates a menu with 5 pages
  • does not include a registration element
  • The guests can use the tickets button or the menu item to go to the tickets page
  • The guests can see the items on the catalog page but cannot bid on the items

Purchase ticket

  • guests enter their email information + additional information
  • guests do not enter a password for their account

WARNING

Guests are required to enter their email address but does not create a password to sign in again. The auction software will create a bidder record for the guest but that is only seen from the Auction Dashboard by users.

KIOSK Bidding template and KIOSK Reporting template

Kiosk mode bidding is a features that allows you to set up tablets or laptops at your event which can be used by bidders to place bids against online items. Kiosk mode uses a special form of auction web site that is activated only on devices you set up and sign into.

This website is different from your auction website and is not one you publish the address of to bidders.
