Online Ticket Sales Settings - Setup
When selling ticket items via the auction web site, you can configure the purchase/registration element to behave in a number of ways for additional guests.
This is controlled through the Settings dialog on the purchase/registration element. To access this, open the web site editor, go to the ticket sales page, hover your mouse pointer over the purchase/registration element's top-right corner, and click on the Settings option.
Click on the Additional Guests tab.
There are four options on how Additional Guests information is gathered.
- Don't Show - the purchaser is not asked for any information.
- Ask for names only - a text box requesting 'additional bidders' is shown as part of the contact details. With this setting, only a single bidder record is created and the information will be set in the Additional Bidders field.
- Request full details (for any number of bidders) - the purchaser will see a step allowing them to add as many guests as they want, regardless of what was purchased.
- Request full details for tickets purchased - the purchaser is prompted for guest information based on the number of tickets purchased. This is the recommended approach for ticket sales.

They can click on each guest and provide contact details for them. If an email address is provided, and sending tickets by email is enabled, the guest will be sent an e-ticket.

The purchaser is presented with a step that is a little different. In this case, they can define as many guests as they want.
