The Purchases tab of the dialog is used to set up the items made available to bidders. It can handle showing For Sale Items and Donation Items.
Before configuring this step, you should create the items you want to offer. For tickets see Tickets
The element can show a number of distinct steps to include items in your auction. To add a new step click on Add Step.
For each step added, you can define the items that are offered.
The Name field is used to help you keep track of which items are being offered on.
Donations & Require Purchase option
- Ask bidders for a donation
- With this option enabled, the step will ask the bidder for a donation
- Require bidders to make a purchase at this step rather than skipping it
- If this option is checked, then the bidder will need to select at least one item to purchase rather than clicking on the Skip option
There are multiple ways to choose which items are shown.
For sale items with 'Show during bidder registration' checked
You can check this option on the details tab of the Item Details page.
Items matching the following tags
When selecting this option, you can provide a set of Tags. Tags are any items that match tags will be shown. See Modify Tags for more details on how to set up Tags.
Specific items shown below
This option allows you to select specific items to be included.
Click on the drop-down menu to select from your For Sale items. You can also type in the Item# or Title to search for it.
You can use the buttons below the list to remove or reorder the items.
If you have multiple purchase steps, then you can remove them or reorder them using the buttons at the bottom of the dialog.
