# Open Report
To open a Report, click Reports on the main navigation.
The Reports Dashboard will appear.
Reports in Auctria are separated in to various categories. There are reports based on: ITEM, DONOR, BIDDER, FINANCIAL, and OTHER. Clicking on a specific tab will show the reports available in that category. Click the Report title to open it.
# Report Overview
The report, once opened, generates a page with a number of sections.
The header shows the title of the report and provides a number of controls.
The search button (magnifying glass) lets you filter the rows shown in the report to those matching the text you enter.
Click on the
x icon at the end of the search box to clear the search, click the
X icon at the far-right to close the search box area.
The tags button lets you restrict the rows shown to just those that match the given tag
Enter the tag(s) to show records with the specific tag(s). If you want to show items that do not match the tag(s), clear the Show records with tags checkbox. To close the tags bar, click on the
X at the far-right of the bar.
# Options Menu
The Options menu (three vertical dots icon) gives you access to more advanced features.
# Report Filters
Depending on the report there may be one, or more, drop-down selectors which work as filter controls for the data being displayed.
You can use these drop-down selectors to view a subset of the data.
You can close the filter options section by clicking on the
x in the top-right corner of the filter option bar. You can re-display the filter options section, as needed, by going under the "Options Menu" and re-checking the "Show filter options" checkbox.
# Column Headers
The column headers in a report can be resized and reordered to arrange the columns in sizes and the order that best suits your needs.
Re-sizing columns works much like it does in an Excel spreadsheet, hover your mouse pointer over the line between the headers until it turns into a double-headed arrow, click and drag the line to re-size the column.
Columns can be re-ordered by clicking and holding in the header space, then drag-n-drop left or right to the new location you want to use for the header.
You can also click on a column header to sort by that column.
Click the column header again to reverse the sort order.
Each row in the report has a checkbox on the left to allow it to be selected.
If you hover over a row, a menu control will be available on the right containing options specifically for that record.
These options are: View Details; Edit Record; and, Delete Record.
# Page Control
Below the data is a page control. This can be used to control the number of rows shown in the table. You can use this page control to step through the pages of the report, if the number of records exceeds the current control limit.
