Open Donor Details
There are a number of ways to access the Donor details page:
Using the Donor Dashboard
Click Donors on the left to open the Donor Dashboard.
a) if the Donor you wish to edit is listed, double-click the name. Note that only active Donors for the current auction are listed. Other Donors are available.
b) if the Donor you wish to edit does not appear on the list, click All Donors under Actions.
If you clicked All Donors, the list of active Donors appears. Under Status, select All Donors.
The list of all Donors for your organization will appear.
Double-click the name of the Donor you wish to view/edit, or select the checkbox to the left of the name of the Donor you wish to edit, then scroll to the bottom of the list and click View Record.
Using Search
Click on the search icon in the page header and start to type the name of the Donor.
Via Breadcrumbs
Click on the Donor name in the breadcrumbs at the top of the screen. If you were working on the Donor record recently
Summary information is shown by default.
To edit information, click the blue pencil icon in the relevant section.
After clicking the Edit icon, the information in that section will be available to edit.
Make the necessary changes and then click the Save icon.
To exit Edit mode and cancel the changes, click the Undo icon.
Acknowledge Publicly
Each Donor Record includes the option to Acknowledge Publicly. If this option is selected, the Donor's name will appear as: "Donated by..." online; on bid sheets; and, in the auction catalog.
Show Address Publicly
If Show Address Publicly is selected, the Donor's address will appear: online; on bid sheets; and, in the auction catalog.
All Summary information except tags can be edited by clicking the Edit icon.
Tags
Tags may be added or deleted, not edited.
To delete a tag, click the x
in the tag box.
To add a tag, type the name of the tag and press the space bar when you have finished.
TIP
Tags should only use letters, numbers, hyphens (-
), and underscore (_
) characters. Entering a tag using a comma or space will create a tag from the letters before the comma or space and start another tag using the characters entered after the comma or space.
