Connecting A Stripe Account
You must have administrator level privileges to connect to your Stripe.com account.
On the main navigation, click Credit Cards.
On the Credit Card dashboard under Actions, click Stripe.com connection.
The Stripe.com connection window will appear.
Read through the terms and click the "I agree to the above terms for integrating with Stripe.com." box.
To connect only in Test mode, click the Force test mode box. If you have a test only Stripe account (ie. one that isn't set up for live transactions), then you must use Force Test Mode. You can quickly set up a Stripe account like this if you want to test out credit card processing without providing Stripe with any actual details about the organization. However, you will need to go through the connection process again to enable live transactions.
If you have a normal Stripe account you can still use test mode and there is no need to use the 'Force test only mode' option here.
Click the Connect Stripe account button.
If you selected test mode, a popup Stripe Integration window will appear reminding you that you cannot process live transactions. Click OK.
You will be redirected to stripe.com and prompted to log in.
Enter your email and password for stripe.com and click the Sign in to your account button.
A screen with the Auctria logo appears.
Note that if you are using test mode and do not wish to provide all of your account information at this time you can click Skip this account form at the top of the window.
Fill in the information for your organization and then click Authorize access to this account.
Verify your connection to stripe in Auctria
You will return to Auctria with the details for your stripe connection displayed. Ensure that the correct information is shown.
If you connected in Test mode note that you will need to unlink your stripe.com and re-connect in order to process live transactions.
Verify your connection to Auctria in Stripe
On stripe.com you can see the status of your connection to Auctria by clicking Your Account and choosing Account Settings.
Click the Connect tab.
You will see Auctria listed. An auction administrator or coordinator can remove the organization's access from within Stripe by clicking the x icon.
If you authorized the application in test only mode, then this is indicated by a DEV banner in the top right.
