# Is Authorize.Net Properly Setup?
# Auctria settings
From the main Auction Dashboard menu go under Credit Cards > Authorize.Net (opens new window) connection, is there Merchant Name & details?
Seeing these confirms Auctria is able to retrieve those details.
# Authorize.Net settings
Authorize.Net (opens new window) we cannot see:
- Card Registration is enabled - Customer Information Manager (CIM); and,
- Your Anti-Fraud Settings will not interfere with checkout.
# 1. Card Registration - CIM
To register cards against bidders using Authorize.Net (opens new window) requires the 'customer information manager' (CIM) feature must be enabled. See the User Guide section on Registering Cards under Authorize.Net for more details on how to ensure this is turned on.
# 2. Anti-Fraud Settings
Authorize.Net (opens new window) provides a suite of features to try and block fraudulent charges. This allows you to configure different filters that will block transactions under certain circumstances. One of these filters (the velocity filter) sets a maximum number of transactions that can be processed per hour which can cause problems during checkout.
See the section on the Fraud Detection Suite in the user guide for details on how to disable these features via your Authorize.Net (opens new window) dashboard to avoid the risk of disruption to checkout.
